Very nice place for a day hike or to just hike around for a couple hours. The trails are well done and clean. They have picnic tables to have lunch on and a couple lookouts for taking pictures. There is also a large staircase to go down into the grand gulf. Overall a very good place to spend an afternoon.
Really nice place. Trails for all skill levels. There are nice boardwalks on the red trail that almost anyone can navigate. The sink is amazing and to find out mammoth springs is fed in part by this area is amazing! Worth the visit.
Beautiful park with 2 easily accessible platforms for viewing. 2 different hikes (15 minutes and 40 minutes). We arrived just before dusk so we only did the shorter hike. Breathtaking views. Trails are in excellent condition and are maintained. On-site lavs and picnic table. Great place to stretch, explore and relax.
Nice park to stop and stretch the legs on our trip! Easy trails that aren't too hard to hike. Primitive restrooms, lots of steps in some areas but all well kept. Worth going out of your way to see!
I'm glad we saw it in the summer when it was dry so we could really understand the geography but I am guessing it is so much more beautiful in the spring when the waterfall is flowing and the gorge is sucking water into the cave at the bottom
We really enjoyed visiting this lovely place. Be sure to read all the information posted to better appreciate the history surrounding this location.
The longer trail was a bit underwhelming, but good for steps. You don't see much of the canyon itself. If going this route I definitely recommend bug spray even if you don't stray from the path.
The shorter trail (left) does have some wonderful views. This trail is a bit easier to navigate as it's maintained a bit more, but be prepared to use steps.
Bathrooms are located on premises.
Beautiful place!
My advice is make sure you use the restroom before going here or wait till you leave as the restrooms have no running water.
My granddaughters and i had a great time here. And yes it looks like a mini grams canyon. There are trails to walk and see the wilderness and beauty while you are there.. Loved it and will go back again...
